Earning a black belt takes a commitment of time and energy.
No matter how hard the training gets the reward is worth it. It takes about 3-4 years to earn a 1st degree black belt in Moo Sool Do. There will be times where you want to quit. Even I thought about quitting many times. However, the reasons why I wanted to quit were exactly why I could not. When you achieve a difficult goal, like black belt, the feeling of self-confidence is worth its weight in gold.
